The Marvel Wings-House of Cessna Aircraft was inaugurated after repainting the trainer aircraft and the hangar on August 09, 2022. Capt. R. Balakumaran, Chairman of Glider Aviation Services (Chennai), inaugurated the ceremony in the presence of Dr. Nalin Vimal Kumar, Technical Director, SNS Institutions. The other dignitaries who were present include industrial experts Mrs. Jothi Sekaran, Project Head-R&D, Hewlett Packard Bangalore, and Mr. Muthusamy, Strategic Advisor and Transformation Lead, PROCRAMA Chennai.  Dr. S. Chenthur Pandian, Principal, Vice Principal Admin Dr. P. Tamil Selvam, and Vice Principal Academics Dr. P. Vivekanandan spoke on the occasion. Initially, Dr. M. Subramanian, Head of the Aerospace Engineering department, welcomed the guests and Dr. M. Elangovan gave the vote of thanks. Speaking on the occasion, Capt. R. Bala Kumaran pointed out the various opportunities that are available for aeronautical and aerospace engineers. Ms. D. Swetha, SNS Alumni and presently working as a flight dispatcher with Glider Aviation, addressed the students and emphasized the importance of fundamentals for career advancement.
